Family was the most important part of Snowy's life. Snowy and Marilyn met early in 1963 and married on October 16th 1965 at St John's Methodist church in Llandudno. Christopher joined the Family in 1966 followed by his chosen blue eyed blonde sister Susan in 1972. Snowy was always very much involved in community events particularly those involving his children. Over the years he was involved with Llandudno Scouts including cubs and venture scouts, Tudno school PTA, various football teams and even the operatic society. After moving to Deganwy to run his own garage he still found time to be involved with Aberconwy athletics club, Conwy football club and silver Jubilee celebrations in Deganwy. When ill health forced the sale of the garage and a move to Colwyn Bay he again became very busy with sports joining the athletics club and becoming a very active member of Colwyn Bay riders club. Serious Ill health again struck in 1992 when he was living in Old Colwyn and he had to stop work which caused him great distress as he had always been so active so on advice from the doctor he took up two new hobbies which were Crown green bowling and line dancing. these new hobbies involved him in many community projects and introduced him to many new friends. It was the support of all these friends,his old friends and his family that enabled him to carry on with an active life for so long despite his ill health.
